Position Summary:
The Site HR Administrator is a key on-site role responsible for managing payroll, human resources coordination, and administrative operations at construction project locations. This position ensures accurate payroll processing, supports employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintains a professional and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic field setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
Process payroll using B2W for craft employees and Keystyle for salaried staff Execute Personnel Action Forms, Labor Cost Adjustments, and UKG entries. Generate and submit union wage and benefit reports in compliance with contracts.Human Resources:
Support HR functions between the field and corporate office. Manage employee documentation including new hires, separations, and transfers. Distribute orientation packets and assist with training programs. Ensure all HR materials are returned to corporate at project completion. Coordinate new hire orientations and ensure completion of onboarding documentation. Act as the first point of contact for new employees at the site. Process terminations and ensure offboarding procedures are followed. Communicate and enforce HR policies and procedures at the field level. Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements (if applicable), and company standards. Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on HR-related issues. Serve as a confidential resource for employee concerns or complaints. Escalate complex issues to corporate HR as needed. Help mediate minor conflicts and support a positive work environment. Provide information on benefits enrollment and eligibility. Assist employees with leave of absence requests and documentation. Coordinate with corporate HR on FMLA, disability, and workers’ comp cases. Support training initiatives and track completion of required certifications. Ensure safety and compliance posters and materials are up to date. Assist with audits and compliance reporting. Act as the communication bridge between field staff and corporate HR. Relay updates, policy changes, and HR initiatives from corporate to the field. Collect and report field HR data to corporate as needed. Support HR functions between the field and corporate office. Manage employee documentation including new hires, separations, and transfers. Distribute orientation packets and assist with training programs. Ensure all HR materials are returned to corporate at project completion.Administrative & Operational Support:
Maintain a professional office environment and perform daily administrative tasks. Answer phones, manage mail, order supplies, and coordinate FedEx/UPS shipments. Prepare correspondence, reports, and job-related documentation. Assist with utility setup, office maintenance, and equipment coordination. Run errands and support site logistics as needed.Safety & Compliance:
Post emergency contact information and assist with safety communications. Support the Safety Manager with documentation and compliance tasks.Additional Duties:
Perform other assignments as directed by supervisors. Assist in training new administrative staff and Site HR Administrators.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:
Minimum 1 year in administrative or payroll roles; union payroll experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years in Human ResourcesTechnical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with B2W, Keystyle, UKG, Viewpoint Vista, and Penta is a plus.
Language:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (or French) is a plus.

Pay Equity
$25 - $28 per hour
Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it, in good faith, believes it might pay and/or offer for this position including per diem. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
