HR Shared Services Specialist, Lead

POSITION PURPOSE

We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our HR Shared Services team. Someone with 5+ years of HR experience, with great problem-solving skills, who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, Shared Service / Center of Excellence office environment. Our HR Shared Services team is responsible for providing high-level support to our associates regarding HR policy, payroll, benefit eligibility/enrollment, leaves administration, HRIS systems and other matters that occur during the employment life cycle. This position requires a well-rounded, detailed-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.

As an Senior HR Shared Services Specialist, you will manage a team of HR Shared Services Specialists that serve as the first point of contact for associate assistance through our AskHR support portal, responding to associates questions and requests via telephone, chat, email, and drop-in face-to-face interactions. You will coach and develop the team, resolve issues, and manage special projects while working closely with our other HR teams, associates and management.

Responsibilities

Manage, lead, and develop HR Advisors to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience through effective delivery and execution of HR services and processesPartner with Centers of Excellence to meet customer needs and implement process improvementsCollaborate on special projects as neededMonitor key performance indicators of the Employee Services team.Manage processes and policies relating to day-to-day human resource operationsProactively seek opportunities to refine, expand, and improve the service provided by the teamLead with continuous improvement mindset to contribute to the advancement and success of the Employee Services teamAct as the subject matter expert and resolve any escalated issues for the Employee Services teamCollaborate with HR partners to communicate and/or present new processes or gather and incorporate feedbackSeek out opportunities to automate and enhance our operations to be more efficient, while keeping employee experience as the utmost priority.Utilize various human resource information systems (HRIS)

Qualifications

Experience with the key responsibilities defined above with 5+ years in human resourceBachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration or a related fieldProficiency with MS Office applications especially Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience leading the execution of human resource initiativesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively work with employees at all levels of the organizationExperience handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacyAbility to create and maintain relationships with business partnersHigh energy with the ability to energize othersAbility to autonomously attack problems while driving solutions collaboratively in a team environmentEnjoys a challenge and is committed to leading a team in a high-performance organization
