Job Summary:
The HR Service Center Specialist will be a subject matter expert in the HRSC functions. This position will directly work with the broader HRSC team and HR Operations in providing outstanding customer service to our existing and newly acquired Acrisure Partners and Home Office. This role ensures the team provides excellent customer service to employees and leaders and supports the end-to-end employee lifecycle. This includes pre-hire, onboarding, off boarding, job changes, and compensation changes. This position works as a key member of the Human Resources Operations Team.
Responsibilities:
Perform the work of the HR Service Center to ensure accuracy and compliance. HRSC responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Initiating and supporting electronic onboarding of new hires
Processing and tracking background checks and drug screens
Processing changes within our HR information systems related to all areas of employment including core employee records, benefits, and payroll
Processing changes within our information systems related to the setup of our Acrisure Partners or business units and their unique data and processing needs
Populating, distributing, and collecting employment agreement documents
Assisting Acrisure Partners and/or employees where needed with navigation and questions related to their HR employee self-service portals
Processing employment verifications in partnership with a third-party vendor
Proper maintenance of employment records
Act as mentor and resource for other members of your team, providing guidance, training as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated issues related to employee records, business processes or user access
Serve as a Workday SME within the team, training and supporting team members on the proper use of Workday for transactions such as hires, transfers, job changes, compensation changes and terminations
Identify opportunities to improves processes and system workflows and collaborate with the HR Operations Enablement team to execute change initiatives and system upgrades
Remain informed of federal, state, and local requirements and regulations, interpreting and applying best practice to meet unique business needs

Requirements:
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced customer-focused environment
Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive process improvements and automation.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)

Ability to work independently, while also being able to contribute to a collaborative environment and provide and take direction
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Ability to influence others
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated organization, attention to detail, and ability to produce accurate, quality work
May occasionally require extended hours to meet business needs
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field - or recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
Minimum of 2 years of experience processing, and/or consulting on Human Resources in a multi-state environment, required
Workday experience with hands-on experience in employee lifecycle transactions, troubleshooting, reporting and business process configuration
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
