HR Seasonal I-9 Coordinator Consultant (REMOTE

We are looking for Seasonal I-9 Compliance Coordinators to Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Arizona time. **Ideal Candidate:** ▪ Accurately enter new data, updates and changes in a variety of HR systems and provide information in the form of reports, evidence, documentation to ensure legal and federal Compliance. ▪ Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods. Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies timely. Cross audit of employee records entered to maintain data integrity. ▪ Perform other duties as assigned. ▪ Data entry processes related to the virtual I-9 employment verification. ▪ Assist in identifying risks and escalate cases and possible issues to Subject Matter Experts. ▪ Follow all Federal rules, regulations and compliance ▪ Adhere to I-9 program documentation and processes. ▪ Audit I-9 forms and supporting documentation via a third-party on-line application for completeness and accuracy following federal requirements. ▪ Perform E-Verify process on new-hires and rehires to ensure employment eligibility. ▪ Log I-9 audit and E-verification results into internal applications to track compliance and identify exceptions. ▪ Monitor E-Verify exceptions to final resolution. ▪ Assist employees with inquiries regarding validity of I-9 supporting documentation and procedural questions. Qualifications - External **Required Qualifications** ▪ Must have at least (3) three demonstrable years of advanced capabilities with the entire Microsoft Suite and Google Suite of products; create, format, and maintain various documents and spreadsheets to support business operations. Exceptional ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets, including formulas, and other collaboration tools within Google and Microsoft Workspace. ▪ Risk-minded focus; Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and quality assurance strongly preferred. ▪ Solid understanding of HR systems and operations (e.g., Workday, Avature, Clear I-9, etc.). ▪ Solid understanding of Federal regulations and compliance in the Work Authorization Arena (DHS/USCIS). ▪ Solid understanding of I-9 compliance, systems and operations (e.g., Workday, Guardian, Clear I-9, etc.). ▪ Solid understanding of employment-based processes. ▪ Advanced competency in core professional skills, especially critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, attention to detail, responsiveness, follow-through, flexibility, initiative, and tact. ▪ Be able to receive feedback and quickly take corrective action to ensure completion of hiring tasks and employment authorization. ▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment and advanced competency to respond professionally. ▪ Check all emails and Slack messages continually throughout the day and respond to inquiries and asks upon receipt. ▪ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks appropriately. ▪ Ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations while managing confidential information appropriately and professionally. ▪ Regular and reliable attendance. Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Arizona time. **MUST** be based in Tucson or able to adhere to work hours in Arizona time zone for the **duration of employment** , from training through project completion. ▪ Follow all Guides and Wikis daily to ensure compliance and data entry integrity and accuracy. ▪ Meet set daily metrics and submit metrics reports daily. ▪ PTO is **restricted** for the months of December and January. No exceptions. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
