Join our collaborative team of HR professionals dedicated to enhancing the employee experience at Sargent & Lundy. As an HR Program Coordinator at Sargent & Lundy, you will play a crucial role in the administration and coordination of HR programs, policies and procedures, supporting various HR team members in Compliance, HR Programs/Initiatives and Culture, and contributing to the overall employee experience. This position is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail, a strong customer service mindset, a questioning attitude, and technical proficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple programs, assisting with ad hoc reports, and contributing to continuous process improvements in designated HR programs, policies and procedures.
In this position you will:
Collaborate with HR team members and internal stakeholders to efficiently schedule and coordinate internal HR-led company meet and greet functions at S&L office locations. Administer the charitable giving platform by reviewing and approving donations in accordance with our company policy and guidelines; escalating issues/concerns to HR team members.Administer select HR programs (i.e., Tuition Reimbursement) accurately and in alignment with policy and program governance.Respond and facilitate employee questions regarding programs, polices and procedures; escalating issues/concerns as appropriate. Handle the administration of compliance items including but not limited to background screenings, I9 review and internal approval of acceptable documents and completion of I9 form. Foster strong relationships with HR team members, employees, and corporate clients to enhance the employee experience and reinforce company culture.Prepare and distribute applicable materials to employees, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Provide administrative support for HR policies and procedures, ensuring smooth internal communication.Contribute to ad hoc reporting and special HR projects as needed. Required Skills and Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five or more years of experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar administrative role supporting HR functions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage scheduling across multiple time zones.Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive experience for employees and corporate clients.A proactive attitude with the ability to ask the right questions and drive efficient solutions.Technical proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with scheduling tools.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced HR environment.Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies quickly and effectively.Preferred but not required skills and experience:
