Serve as the bridge between the site and HQ, ensuring that initiatives and requests from the Group are implemented effectively and in line with local laws. Support employee relations at the site by addressing concerns, investigating issues, managing relations with unions, and promoting compliance with labor regulations. Provide operational support in payroll processes, including data accuracy, timely processing, and alignment with legal requirements. Lead and coordinate HR activities for the site independently, implementing change management initiatives in line with global and regional HR guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at the site to ensure HR processes are working effectively and practically. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, safeguard data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Over 6 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in medium-sized, international companies operating in the manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of Basque labor laws, with experience managing employee relations and union interactions at the plant level. Hands-on experience in core HR activities, including payroll processes, data management, HRIS systems, training, and recruiting (particularly blue-collar, including through agencies). Ability to independently coordinate plant-level HR activities in line with global and regional HR guidelines, ensuring compliance and effective implementation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization, particularly in a plant environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with autonomy in managing HR initiatives for the plant. Excellent knowledge of English and Catalan (written and spoken). It would be an advantage to have knowledge of Basque (Euskara), however not a requirement. Ready to Make a Difference?
