This position can be based out of our head office in beautiful Chilliwack BC or our commercial office in Victoria BC.

The Opportunity!

As an HR Partner (HRP) you will have a dedicated group of leaders and employees within your portfolio. You will work collaboratively with leaders, building trusted relationships, and providing guidance on people programs supporting our overall business strategy. You will bring your experience in day-to-day HR activities, knowledge of people programs such as employee engagement, performance management, employee relations and your overall understanding of compliance with employment laws and standards to this exciting role.

In this role you will -

Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders to align HR programs with business goals. 

Provide Human Resources support to leaders and employees while demonstrating required skills in critical thinking, influence, problem solving, program management and change management.

Advise managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues including coaching, researching/investigating situations and recommending business-driven, proactive, and inclusive solutions.

Possess current knowledge of legal trends, regulatory changes, best practices in Human Resources and employment law.

Be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal process and procedures both in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and People programs.

Share key HR data and analytics, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Be responsible for daily HRIS workflow administration, supporting reporting and audit reviews, and ensuring people data is maintained accurately and in a timely manner. 

What you will bring to our team -

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering.

Working knowledge of all HR disciplines including performance management, resource planning, compensation, and employee engagement as well experience working within the Employment Standards Act and Human Rights legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build authentic and trusting relationships

Employee relations experience, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and terminations.

The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement and use the utmost discretion in sensitive situations.

Customer service focused with the ability to communicate clearly and consistently, respond with empathy and professionalism, and manage expectations effectively.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising quality.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify key information and issues, interpret data, determine implications, and provide recommendations.

Proficiency in Workday/HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) would be considered an asset

Salary Expectations – 

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
