Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires; review and update induction materials as needed.
Manage onboarding documentation and ensure accurate, timely updates in Workday.
Execute HR process improvement projects that enhance employee use of self-service tools and maintain up-to-date internal content.
Promote use of kiosks to reduce in-person queries and enable smoother digital interactions.
Process insurance-related documents and ensure they are sent to the appropriate recipients.
Transition physical records to digital formats in line with compliance requirements.
Maintain and organise employee files according to date of joining and local standards.
Consolidate exit-related data for hourly employees and provide it to central teams.
Address internal and external audit items, and coordinate follow-up actions.
Complete offboarding tasks, including document processing and record updates.
Monitor employment legislation and ensure internal practices align with local regulations.
Participate in HR process improvement and system enhancement projects.
Refer non-routine or complex issues to senior team members as needed.
Act as the primary contact for employee HR-related questions, providing clear and accurate information.
Travel within Singapore to GE Vernova locations may be required.
Qualifications / Requirements
To be successful for this role, you would possess and/or demonstrate the following (but not limited to)
Diploma, degree, or equivalent in Human Resources from a recognised institution is essential.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in each of the following areas: HR operations, Singapore’s employment laws, HR compliance standards and payroll (such as payroll validation, time & attendance register) is essential.
Familiarity with statutory and regulatory frameworks applicable to HR in Singapore is essential.
At least 3 years of experience in a relevant industry, such as manufacturing and production is essential.
Effective communicator who can convey information clearly to employees and HR stakeholders.
Proficient in using HR systems (e.g., Workday) and familiar with employee self-service tools.
Willing and able to travel to various office sites in Singapore as needed.
