Job Title: Business Support SpecialistJob Description
The Business Support Specialist will serve as the initial point of contact for leaders requiring assistance with self-service processes and systems related to team management. This role also involves providing general administrative support to the business.
Responsibilities
+ Partner with managers to open new requisitions and schedule interviews.
+ Collaborate with the Recruiting & Onboarding (R&O) and Talent Acquisition (TA) Teams to support onboarding.
+ Deliver new hire orientation and serve as a subject matter expert for new hires.
+ Guide managers through processing promotions, salary changes, reporting changes, terminations, or other employee changes.
+ Act as the key point of contact for time and attendance-related topics for hourly employees (if applicable).
+ Collaborate with TA, BUHR, and Managers to provide an excellent employee experience and encourage positive company morale.
+ Escalate issues with manager tasks to the appropriate internal resource and ensure resolution.
+ Proactively identify gaps in existing processes and take the initiative to implement agreed changes.
+ Enable compliance and participate in audits.
+ Assist with planning and executing team and company events, including catering coordination.
+ Work on projects requiring independent action and initiative in problem resolution and recommendations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
+ Experience with ADP or similar payroll/HRIS systems.
+ Onboarding expertise.
+ Project management skills.
+ Administrative support proficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
+ Proven ability to manage concurrent responsibilities, prioritize, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
+ Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
+ Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Strong ethics when accessing or handling confidential information.
+ Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
+ Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and analytical skills.
+ Capability to work as a team and/or independently, demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
Work Environment
This position is primarily onsite, with the possibility of hybrid work 1-2 days a week after 3-6 months.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr.
