We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to provide high quality advisory/operational support to HR Business Partners/BU Managers and Leaders alike as on routine, cyclical and adhoc HR focus areas including, but not limited to, performance management, professional development, promotion and compensation.

What you'll do in the role
Provide high quality advisory/operational support to HR Business Partners/BU Managers and Leaders alike as on routine, cyclical and adhoc HR focus areas including, but not limited to, performance management, professional development, promotion and compensationPartner with global and regional HR colleagues to support process initiativesManagement of repeatable processes within the agreed upon deadlines, with a focus on accuracy and quality.Identification of process issues: Ability to identify process issues through day-to-day transactional work and/or audits and engage appropriate stakeholders to determine resolution.Facilitate communication and liaise between employees, managers, the Reasonable Accommodations team, employment law, and other relevant stakeholders Liaise with employee relations and employment law as requiredEnsure requests are tracked appropriately - documents and maintain accurate, appropriate and timely case notes and status via Firm centralized systems - from conception to closeProactively identify trends and suggest actions to reduce risk, provide proactive guidance that will ultimately improve the employee experienceEnsure that service delivery standards are consistently met or exceeds expectations by providing high quality support and guidanceExceptional judgement; escalates pertinent matters as necessaryStrong understanding of the Human Resources function and labor lawsStrong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Power Point, Word, etc. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure complianceWhat you'll bring to the role
Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships with global and local stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office suit of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong team player and at the same time demonstrate the ability to take ownership for assigned tasksShould be comfortable with advisory and transactional interactions and get into details where neededAbility to identify discrepancies and follow up to promptly resolve themStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess situations and make fair, balanced decisions within policy guidelinesAbility to exercise sound judgment when handling exceptions or escalationsAbility to manage high-volume queries while maintaining a helpful and professional approachShould be able to optimally work with global teams as well as navigate through ambiguityAdaptable and creative approach to address issues and solve problemsAt least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this roleWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:
