Your role and responsibilities

The HR Operations Specialist (Senior Generalist) ensures the execution of HR processes with high quality and consistency across two locations Manufacturing Plant and Commercial Operations Office. This role performs day-to-day HR transactions, manage complex and escalated tasks, and supports compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements. As a key point of contact for administrative employees, the Sr. Generalist ensures a high level of service, accuracy, and employee experience.

This role supports operations in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, focusing on employee lifecycle processes, policy implementation, and compliance with labor regulations. It requires strong collaboration with managers, employees, and cross-functional teams, along with advanced knowledge of HR systems, labor law, and organizational agility.

You will be mainly accountable for:Tracks and reports key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, diversity, headcount).Creates executive-level presentations and dashboards using PowerPoint and Power BI.Engagement & Recognition: Supports the planning and execution of engagement events and recognition initiatives. Develops and implements recognition programs aligned with company values.Early Talent Program: Manages and coordinate the internship program lifecycle: recruitment support, onboarding, development, training, and follow-up. Ensures alignment with business needs and promotes intern integration into company culture. Conducts benchmarking with other companies within the group and external organizations to stay at the forefront of early talent practices and continuously improve program quality and effectiveness.Cross-functional Collaboration: Provides input and support to other HR areas such as recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation, etc. Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations during HR processes.HR Operations & Employee Support: Provides daily HR support to administrative employees across two sites. Acts as subject matter expert in Workday, resolving system issues and supporting users. Manages sensitive data, including salary information and termination processes (voluntary and involuntary). Handles employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies. Supports integrity case investigations and ensures proper documentation.Owner of CAPEX projects related to the HR department.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR generalist or operations role.High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with Workday (required), SAP, Revolution, and Power BI (preferred). Experience with automation tools is a plus.Strong communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.Strong organizational, multitasking skills and detail oriented. Proactive, adaptable, and service-oriented mindset. Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsApproachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels. Passion for continuous process improvement and simplification of routine deliverables. Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
