HR Manager / HR Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join our team in Ratingen, DE.

Summary Main Tasks:

Management of the human resources departmentOperational and strategic HR work such as headcount planning, support, development, terminationsContract design Advising General Management and Supervisors on labor law, social law and disciplinary issues, as well as supervising development appraisal and target meetings Cooperation with the works council and collective bargaining partiesDevelopment and implementation of company agreements, personnel systems, guidelines and other regulationsManagement of administrative processes in the area of human resources (payroll accounting, personnel cost planning, controlling, budget preparation)Representation of the company in labor court proceedingsBuild commitment amongst leadership towards the performance management program and develops/executes performance solutions in alignment with organizational valuesIdentify opportunities for ways of working, policies, procedures, and programs to develop long term strategies regarding employee engagement and retentionEnsure the Company is following corporate and legal requirements for the assigned business groups

Critical Competencies

Experience in policy management, employee relations, performance management, organizational change and complianceStrong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business and client group, and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goalsStrong knowledge of compliance and policy development and implementationExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of organizationExcellent communication skills both internally & externally; one on one and in group settingsAbility to provide coaching and guidance to leaders on a variety of performance related situations or circumstances

Education / Qualifications:

Completed business administration/commerce studies or comparable training, e.g. human resources specialist with at least 10 years of professional experienceSeveral years of professional experience in the field of HR leadership rolesExpertise in the areas of labor law, payroll tax law, social security law, data protectionEntrepreneurial thinking, self-motivation, systematic approach to work, negotiation skills, assertiveness and persuasivenessVery good English skills, native German
