Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will manage the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, payroll, benefits, training and implementing company policies and procedures. Office hours are in person, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The HR Manager reports to the Director of Administration and Human Resources and manages the HR Generalist and HR Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new employees.
+ Perform orientation for supervisory-level employees.
+ Develop strategies to attract top talent and ensure a smooth hiring process.
+ Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with employment law and regulations.
+ Develop and implement HR strategies and initiative aligned with the overall business strategy.
+ Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
+ Oversee external and internal HR audits.
+ Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
+ Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees.
+ Ability to build personal relationships based on connection, trust, and credibility.

Qualifications & License/Certification:
+ Must have a clean background and ability to pass a drug screen.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills; strong listening and comprehension abilities, adaptability to quickly evolving situations, and strong decision making.
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
+ At least four years of proven experience as an HR Manager is essential
+ Advanced degrees or certifications in HR management are preferred.
Working Conditions:
+ Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and extended workdays.
+ May work indoors or outdoors with exposure to weather.
+ Possible routine exposure to moderate noise levels.
