HR Manager
Description As a Contract HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of human resources activities to support business objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional looking to deliver exceptional results in a project-focused or interim capacity. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to address workforce needs, ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, and contribute to the organization’s overall people strategy. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning processes to address new or vacated positions. + Provide expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching to managers and employees. + Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices align with compliance standards and regulations. + Support change management initiatives, including organizational restructuring, workforce planning, or culture initiatives. + Administer compensation reviews, employee benefits programs, and compliance audits as needed. + Analyze HR data and recommend actionable insights to drive workforce efficiency and retention. + Partner with leadership to uphold diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals and initiatives. Requirements Required: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + 5+ years of professional HR experience, including at least 2 years in a management-level role. + Broad knowledge in areas such as employee relations, compliance, labor laws, performance management, and workforce planning. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP). + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a problem-solving mindset. Preferred: + Certification: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR preferred. + Industry experience in [insert specific industry, if needed, e.g., tech, healthcare, finance]. + Prior experience in HR for scaling organizations or supporting transitional periods.
