HR Manager
Job Description Insight Global's manufacturing client is seeking an HR Manager for their growing team. This role is 5 days a week onsite in Deerfield Beach, FL, Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the administrative functions of the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Oversees the daily workflow of the department. · Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. · Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. · Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. · Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. · Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. · Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. · Manages ADP Time & Attendance/Payroll related activities · Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. · Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. · Performs other related duties as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises employees within department(s) Manages employees within department (s) Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Skills and Requirements - 8-10+ years of experience within HR - 3+ years of HR management experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Experience with benefits administration - Experience conducting and overseeing disciplinary action and able to be tough when needed - Experience managing vendor partners and some recruiting - Very organized and detail oriented - Comfortable with the being onsite M-F, 8:30-5:30 in Deerfield Beach, FL - Experience in a manufacturing environment - ADP experience - They are currently automating and changing a lot of processes to be electronic so any experience with this would be a plus - Experience working as the sole HR person or in smaller organizations/HR teams null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
