How you will contribute
The People Lead (PL) Tasmania, is a critical partner to our Manufacturing sites in Claremont and Burnie. Claremont is famous for manufacturing our Cadbury Dairy Milk Blocks - Australia's most iconic Chocolate brand! The factory employs over 450 staff and runs 24 hours a day. Claremont is the largest Cadbury factory in Australia AND the Southern Hemisphere.
Leading the onsite People function and partnering with the business to define and implement activities to drive employee engagement, you will be excited to build a high-performance culture whilst enabling the delivery of the business strategy. This will ensure you are contributing to defining and implementing the necessary cultural changes as it applies to the Tasmanian Operations.
As a member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will drive implementation of Mondelez’s internal manufacturing excellence program, Integrated lean Six Sigma (IL6S) with a particular focus on building the capability of both leaders and teams.
HR Generalist Activities
Act as a valued strategic partner who will coach and support the Plant Director whilst owning the site people strategy
Lead the on-site people team; providing coaching and direction to indirect reports
Leading improvement of employee engagement via a range of plans and actions
Build the leadership capability of the broader site leadership team whilst delivering local training programs
Implement Mondelez HR calendar of events including Strategic Talent Review and Succession Planning; Goal Setting Alignment and Review; Performance Calibration; Development Planning; Growing Here Week
Contribute to the development and growth of the business through all aspects of the sites and actively play a leadership role on the Plant Leadership Team
Employee Relations Activities
Lead the Employee Relations agenda, including oversight of all grievance and dispute management processes; Enterprise Agreement strategy, planning and negotiations; and consultation processes.
ER case analytics and improvement action planning
You will be an outstanding communicator, passionate for people engagement, and pride yourself on service delivery through change management.
With a desire to drive your future and accelerate your career you will bring the following experience and knowledge:
HR / People & Culture generalist or BP experience 5+ years
IR/ER policies and practices in Australian jurisdiction a must
Communicating effectively, applying interpersonal skills and taking initiative
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong capability in blending strategic and action orientation
Employee relations experience is a must
HR / Business degree qualified or equivalent experience
Work schedule:
This role is on site 5 days a week in Claremont with ad hoc travel required to Burnie.
