HR Intern - Operations
**Job Description:** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented **HR Intern** who values the importance of building strong, in-person relationships with employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in engaging with cross-functional teams and approach challenges with curiosity and a desire to understand. This role will play a key part in supporting the successful transfer of operations and the implementation of training programs. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Transfer of Operations + Facilitate smooth onboarding for employees at new work locations, including administrative and transactional tasks using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday). + Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Payroll, Facilities, and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) to enhance the employee experience throughout the transfer of operations. + Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets; communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress. + Provide operational support to leadership teams during the transition process. + Conduct stay interviews and summarize feedback for leadership to support retention and engagement. + Coordinate meetings across all three shifts by working closely with shift leaders. + Support the operations recruiting by conducting interviews. + Travel up to 10% amongst our Orange, Pomona, and Brea sites in California. Training Program Implementation and Sustainment + Assist in the creation of training materials including presentations, documents, and forms. + Support the rollout and ongoing management of the Training Program. + Launch and monitor new employee training surveys, compile and present feedback to leadership. + Perform regular audits of training content and processes, report findings and recommendations. + Schedule and coordinate training-related meetings across shifts. Other Duties + Conduct small research projects to support business objectives. + Support the coordination of employee events including but not limited to Town Halls, Luncheons, etc. + Respond to employee inquiries and regularly update communication monitors. **Incidental Duties:** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. IND123 **Target Market Salary Range:** Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
