HR Generalist (Manager)
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist (Manager) to join our Nordic HR team in Finland. Primarily working for the Finland entity but supporting the wider HR Generalist needs of the Europe North HR Organisation. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and update HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with Finnish labor law and other relevant regulations. + Partner with the wider HR Ecosystem to ensure Finland compliance and employee experience delivery. + Support various projects and initiatives, such as onboarding changes, M&A activity, policy & process related changes. + Facilitate HR governance processes and maintain accurate HR information across the organization (e.g. immigration, mobility, offer governance). + Work collaboratively and pro-actively with the business, local employee representative groups and committees to support statutory and compliance requirements creating trusted working relationships. + Represent Finland as part of the wider EMEA ONEHR team identifying needs, developing plans, and implementing solutions. + Represent HR in compliance and governance committees and collaborate with stakeholders including Finance, Payroll, Procurement, and Legal. + Delivering data driven business insights on HR related projects to business leaders, as and when required, creating efficient and automated reports to guide policy. + Be the main contact for crisis management and business continuity planning, such as emergency response, disaster recovery, and employee well-being programs. + Develop and manage employee engagement programs and activities, including resource groups and well-being initiatives. + Act as a coach to managers who need leadership guidance and accountability to maintain a high performance culture. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Expert knowledge of Finnish Labor law, operating in an international and matrixed environment. + Extensive understanding of local market practices, labor law, HR policies, and compliance requirements (such as GDPR, health & safety, benefits, and local documentation). + Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence leaders, employees, and external partners. + Collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused approach. + Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. + Proficiency in Finnish and English communication.
