HR Generalist (M/F/D)

Overseeing a workforce of around 840 employees, in this role you will be working in a small local HR team, consisting of the Country HR Leader and two HR Generalists. You will be (co-)responsible to implement HR policies and to optimize processes in line with the HR strategy. Covering all essential HR topics – recruitment & selection, performance management, industrial relations, coaching & training, organizational development, compensation & benefits - the HR Generalist advises and coaches employees and line management.

The position will be limited to 12-18 months.

You enjoy getting involved in various tasks and projects requiring substantial efforts and personal commitment in a changing and resource conscious environment. You will train managers to apply internal processes, policies and local labor law. You will work collaboratively with internal and external 3rd parties and support the local implementation of corporate regulations, tools and programs.

Your main responsibilities include:

- Provide advice and service to management and employees in all HR matters, coaching supervisors around HR-related questions and topics
- Follow-up and communicate on employment regulation and legislation, optimize HR processes in line with the global and local HR strategy and initiatives
- Contribute to the Talent Acquisition and Management process, assisting managers in the identification, development and retention of talents

- Coordinate effectively with the HR Shared Service Center team to direct and enhance time and attendance and payroll processes

- Work in close relationship with the HR Shared Service Center and maintain constructive relationships with the global HR teams

- Play an active part in the delivery of internal HR trainings to employees and managers

- Depending on the experience, the incumbent may also support managers in difficult face to face relationships (i.e.: resignation, termination, disciplinary cases) as well getting actively involved into industrial relations matters

Although the main responsibilities are related to consulting, also the handling of some transactional and administrative tasks are required for the successful performance of the role.

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required, degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar discipline preferred. Candidates without university degree but the equivalent work experience will be considered within the preselection process
- Previous HR experience is preferred, but not a must
- Fluent in speaking and writing German and English is a must. Additionally French and /or Luxembourgish would be an asset
- Autonomous with good sense of team spirit and can do-attitude

- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Analytical and pragmatic mindset
