The Human Resources Specialist will coordinate all aspects of human resources within the company to improve efficiency and employee happiness.
Position Objective:
To develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, motivate, and train personnel, as well as manage various human resources processes and policies.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, motivate, and train personnel.Participate in union negotiations and routine dealings with the union.Manage the recruitment and selection process.Maintain updated systems such as Workday and Prosys.Handle difficult labor issues such as employee conflicts, terminations, and disciplinary procedures.Plan and conduct new employee orientation.Support safety and environmental programs.Enforce company policies and procedures.Be responsible for the training area.Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles.Knowledge: Human resources management, HR management systems (Workday, Prosys), labor relations, training and development, safety, and environmental policies.Skills: Organization, effective communication, conflict resolution, leadership, teamwork.
