Your Role: As an HR Generalist (all genders) for SUSONITY Germany, you will be instrumental in enhancing our human resources functions and supporting our employees' growth. Your core responsibilities will include the creation of compensation and benefit schemes, as well as setting up a new HR software in collaboration with IT and our future payroll vendors.  You will develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and company policies. You will also serve as a resource for employees, addressing inquiries and fostering a positive workplace culture in collaboration with the local works council.

 

The SUSONITY business unit, a mid-sized multinational leader in the pigments industry, is subject to a planned divestment to the company Global New Materials International (GNMI), headquartered in China. This role will be part of the divestment. 

 

Currently, our global HR-team consists of 2 members, the CHRO and the Head of HR Germany and Europe to whom you will report. You will have the chance to influence the future of the HR function with your valuable work and insights.

This role is based in Gernsheim, Germany. We also offer flexible remote work options, a company pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth.

 

Who You Are:

 

at least 5 years of experience in Human Resourcesa solid understanding of compensation and benefits as well as time and attendance strategiesyou are knowledgeable about labor laws and compliance requirementsexcel in communication and interpersonal skillsdemonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolutionproficient in utilizing HR software and data management toolscommitted to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culturepassionate about employee development and organizational effectivenesslanguage skills (business fluent): German and English
