In Fortune Brands Innovation, Inc., we’re looking for a seasoned Human Resources Generalist for our MOEN LATAM Office in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo León.
This position requires an individual who has previous employee and labor relations experience as well as recruitment, payroll, administration of benefits, onboarding process, and strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills that enables the individual to work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee relations and site support issues and projects. Also, this position supports other remote locations and may need to travel and work from those locations.
Job Description
This position will play a key role in the operational management of the department, supporting processes related to labor relations, benefits administration, payroll processes (TRESS), maintaining updated our HR information systems (WorkDay), and day to day employee support for our Commercial and Supply Chain teams
Lead labor relations at the workplace, conduct investigations, progressive disciplinary actions and company policies deployment.Work with the talent management team on the follow up or talent processes, initiatives and programs. Works closely with the Business/Function within his/her scope to understand jobs contexts, challenges and successful profile criteria and translates it into requirements.Process payroll and make sure all changes in the system are backed up with the appropriate approvals. Explain employees’ tax and deductions.Support benefits administration for all employees.Lead recruitment processes for direct, indirect labor and work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to cover salaried or professional open positions.Maintain training records to comply with all Mexico Regulations.Lead onboarding processes for all new hires.Support Positive Associate relations through Engagement & Retention Activities.Provide all reports and analytics for HR KPI’sManage employee’s personnel files.Manage all information with the appropriate confidentiality.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in labor law, human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree3+ years’ experience in Employee Relations and/or workplace issue related investigations, Human Resources, Mexico’s Labor/Employment relations, Labor/employment law or related areas. Prior working experience and knowledge of the same industry/field is preferred.Strong Knowledge of Mexico’s employment and labor relations regulations and practice.Highly developed interviewing skills, good command of written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced global environment, in a fast moving, global and complex organization.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic with the ability to perform job functions with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment.Proactive and ability to think strategically, capable of identifying and resolving issues, be effective and efficient in a multi-tasking environment.Understanding of confidentiality – must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.High level of integrity – must be able to represent and model integrity within the organization.Strong experience processing Payroll through TRESS system and updating HRIS (Workday) in a timely manner.
