Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in San Jose, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, managing employee benefits, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation and orientation requirements are completed accurately. • Maintain accurate employee records and perform data entry tasks, including updates to HR systems and databases. • Provide support for employee relations matters, fostering communication and resolving workplace concerns. • Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries. • Conduct employment verifications and manage compliance with company policies and procedures. • Act as a liaison to the wellness committee, promoting initiatives that support employee well-being. • Assist with administrative HR tasks and other assignments as needed to support the office staff. • Collaborate with management to ensure alignment of HR practices with organizational goals. • Monitor and utilize HR systems effectively to streamline processes and maintain data integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in HR administration and employee relations. • Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and HR best practices. • Familiarity with benefits administration and HRIS systems. • Excellent organizational and data entry skills, with attention to detail. • Ability to communicate effectively and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion. • Proficiency in using HR software and tools to manage records and workflows. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
