HR Generalist
Description We are looking for a motivated HR Generalist to join our team in West Chester, Ohio. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance reporting. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and technical support to the HR team by assisting in the development and revision of HR programs. • Facilitate onboarding processes, including conducting orientations, coordinating safety training, and addressing employee questions about policies and benefits. • Handle employment verifications, motor vehicle records (MVRs), and other requests following established procedures. • Assist in administering and communicating HR policies related to workplace conduct, benefits, and paid time off. • Support benefits administration by coordinating open enrollment activities, reviewing forms, and maintaining documentation in HR systems. • Manage recruitment efforts by posting job openings, tracking applicants, attending job fairs, and closing requisitions. • Ensure HR documentation is accurately maintained by processing and scanning relevant employee records. • Compile federal reports and compliance documentation such as Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 reports, and VETS-100 submissions. • Track and follow up on company-mandated employee training requirements. • Assist with the administration of leave processes by coordinating requests and maintaining records. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration. • Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and safety training procedures. • Familiarity with benefits administration and open enrollment activities. • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for documentation and record maintenance. • Ability to compile and submit federal compliance reports accurately. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to support recruitment and policy implementation. • Knowledge of employment verification procedures and regulatory requirements. • Prior experience in tracking employee training and development programs.
