HR Generalist
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance various human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to HR operations and contribute to fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new team members, including orientation sessions and documentation. • Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, to maintain and update employee records efficiently. • Develop and rewrite job descriptions to align with organizational needs and compliance standards. • Conduct applicant screening to identify candidates with relevant experience and ensure a seamless recruitment process. • Facilitate new employee orientation programs to familiarize team members with company policies and culture. • Provide support for HR administrative tasks, including maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations. • Collaborate with managers to address workforce planning and organizational development needs. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and handling workplace concerns. • Proficiency in HR administration, including benefits management and onboarding processes. • Familiarity with HRIS platforms, such as Paylocity, to manage employee data effectively. • Expertise in developing and revising job descriptions to meet legal and organizational standards. • Strong skills in applicant screening and recruitment coordination. • Ability to conduct orientations for new team members and deliver engaging onboarding experiences. • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements within HR operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and management effectively.
