Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Columbus, Indiana, on a contract basis. This position involves providing comprehensive human resources support, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering positive employee relations. The role requires expertise in HR systems and processes, along with strong communication skills to manage diverse responsibilities effectively. Responsibilities: • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and providing solutions to foster a positive work environment. • Oversee time tracking and ensure the accuracy of employee hours using HR systems. • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment and compliance, to meet employee needs. • Utilize systems like ADP Workforce Now and Dayforce for payroll and HR functionalities. • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, including FMLA regulations. • Collaborate with management to support recruitment efforts and track applicant data. • Provide bilingual support to accommodate a diverse workforce and enhance communication. • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support decision-making. • Conduct training sessions to promote policy awareness and skill development. • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires. Requirements • Proven experience as an HR Generalist with expertise in employee relations and compliance. • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce. • Strong knowledge of benefit administration and FMLA regulations. • Excellent communication skills, including bilingual capabilities. • Ability to work onsite five days a week and manage diverse HR responsibilities. • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processes. • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
