Description We are seeking a proactive and well-rounded HR Generalist to join our team. This role supports a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities: Support the recruitment process, including posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers. Administer new permanent onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and employee questions related to health, retirement, and leave programs. Assist in maintaining HRIS and employee records in compliance with legal and internal standards. Support employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance issues. Coordinate training and development initiatives and assist with tracking employee progress. Help ensure legal compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations. Assist with payroll coordination and time-off tracking (in partnership with Payroll or Finance). Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity. Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, BambooHR, Paylocity). Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Familiarity with benefits, payroll, and compliance requirements. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
