HR Generalist

Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will manage various human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in HR who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full cycle of HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment.
• Administer bi-weekly payroll processing accurately and efficiently.
• Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring timely enrollment and updates.
• Facilitate new training sessions to ensure smooth transitions for incoming employees.
• Prepare and issue offer letters and other relevant documentation for new team members.
• Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and conflict resolution as needed.
• Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, to maintain employee records and streamline HR operations.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies in all HR activities.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in human resources roles.
• Proficiency in using HRIS tools, including Paylocity, for efficient HR management.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and labor regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing HR processes.
• Ability to conduct effective onboarding and training sessions for new hires.
• Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication tasks. TalentMatch®
