HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Columbus, Indiana. This role is vital to ensuring smooth human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting background checks, and coordinating in-house interviews. • Develop and refine onboarding procedures to integrate new hires effectively into the company culture and departmental teams. • Provide support in areas such as compensation, benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee training. • Prepare corporate HR reports and handle ad hoc reporting requests as needed. • Assist in creating and updating employee job descriptions to align with organizational needs. • Maintain employee files and HR records while compiling personnel-related data for reporting purposes. • Collaborate on drafting and editing company policies, procedures, and related documentation. • Support employee relations initiatives by addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws at all times. • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality at the designated work location. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and HR administration. • Proficiency in onboarding processes and corporate recruiting strategies. • Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll functions. • Familiarity with HRIS systems and their applications. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to compose and edit policies, procedures, and related HR documents. • Understanding of compliance standards, safety regulations, and employment laws. • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in handling personnel data.
