Description
Rapidly growing construction company seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in Frederick, Maryland. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding and engagement to talent development and retention.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, and collaborates effectively across departments and with leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Partner with leadership to support talent management initiatives, including succession planning and performance reviews.
• Address employee relations matters, providing guidance to managers and escalating complex issues as needed.
• Oversee HR systems and data to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate training programs to support employee development and growth.
• Administer compensation and benefits functions, ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Drive engagement programs aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Support compliance efforts related to labor laws and organizational policies.
• Serve as a key resource for employees and managers, navigating HR processes and resolving inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and enhance HR effectiveness.
Requirements • Proven experience in human resources, with expertise in employee relations and HR administration.
• Proficiency in managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees and stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate training programs and support employee development initiatives.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to support a diverse workforce.
