The Work You'll Do:

The HR Generalist will be the main point of contact for Sovos employees in their designated working area, supporting them with relevant HR advice and guidance across all areas of employee relations. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will support the creation and roll out of employee programs to reinforce employee engagement initiatives and ensure ongoing compliance with changing local laws and regulations.

The HR Generalist will collaborate with the Global Centers of Excellence and their peers in other Sovos locations to ensure our employee experience is world class no matter where they are located.

More specifically, you will:

Act as primary point of contact for employees in the assigned area(s) on various topics throughout the employee life cycle Oversee the onboarding of new employees including conducting F48 (new hire orientation) and assisting managers with developing onboarding plans to ramp productivity Partner with global HR team members to support and champion positive employee relations through effective communication, policies, and practices Provide generalist HR advisory support to all employees and line managers, including absence management, parental leave, performance management, and handling minor disciplinary and grievance situations Support and implement various Human Resource projects, practices and processes as requested from HR leadership including M&A, employee engagement and change initiatives

What We Need From You

2+ years' experience in Human Resources or similar work preferred Process oriented with excellent attention to detail and level of accuracy Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels of employees including leadership level of organization Very strong interpersonal and written communication skills – ability to initiate and engage in conversations about difficult or sensitive topics
