HR Generalist
Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist & Training Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone passionate about elevating employee experiences through impactful HR support, skill-building, and timely communications. You'll play a key role in supporting our aerospace honeycomb manufacturing team to grow and thrive.

ResponsibilitiesSupport recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer documentation.Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in Paycom and personnel files.Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.Support employee relations efforts by gathering information, documenting concerns, and assisting in resolution.Respond to Employment Development Department (EDD) unemployment claims and other employment verifications in a timely and accurate manner.Process wage garnishments and other court-ordered deductions, coordinating with payroll to ensure compliance.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and mandatory compliance trainings.Create impactful, visually engaging content using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Assist in content development, managing version control, and ensuring training resources are correctly recorded.Maintain training calendars, communicate schedules, and send reminders to employees and supervisors.Lead in-person training sessions to promote engagement and encourage collaborative learning.Prepare and distribute training materials, presentations, and supplies.Set up training rooms, equipment, and technology for in-person and virtual training sessions.Maintain accurate training records and track completion of all required trainings in Paycom Learning or other training platforms.Support e-learning programs and assist employees with access and troubleshooting.Gather training feedback and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to coordinate specialized training.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in HR generalist support.Experience coordinating training programs strongly preferred.Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment law.Experience processing EDD claims and wage garnishments preferred.Experience using Paycom HRIS and Learning Management System preferred.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
