HR Generalist
Description We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for an experienced individual who is passionate about fostering employee engagement, maintaining compliance, and supporting organizational growth. As an integral member of the HR department, you will oversee critical processes such as onboarding, employee relations, and policy management. Responsibilities: • Guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. • Lead orientation sessions to introduce employees to company values, policies, and procedures. • Collaborate with managers to provide role-specific training and resources tailored to new employees. • Develop initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace inclusivity. • Coordinate employee feedback programs, analyze data, and propose actionable HR solutions. • Plan and execute team-building activities, recognition events, and other morale-boosting programs. • Keep the employee handbook updated to reflect current policies and ensure legal compliance. • Serve as a resource for employees by educating them on HR guidelines and addressing policy-related inquiries. • Oversee the offboarding process, including exit interviews and compliance with termination procedures. • Support recruitment efforts, including job requisition creation, resume screening, and interview scheduling. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or a related field. • Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR administration, and onboarding processes. • Familiarity with benefits administration and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). • Proven expertise in developing and implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance. • Experience with performance management, recruiting, and interviewing techniques. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive personnel information. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees and managers. • Proficiency in change management strategies and fostering a positive workplace culture.
