Description
Robert Half is seeking a well-rounded and proactive HR Generalist to handle a variety of human resources functions while ensuring compliance and alignment with the company’s policies and culture. The HR Generalist is a key player in supporting employees, driving engagement, and enforcing best practices.
Key Responsibilities
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance, resolving concerns, and fostering a positive work environment.
+ Administer and coordinate HR programs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and compensation.
+ Facilitate the new hire process, including conducting orientation and ensuring accurate completion of necessary paperwork.
+ Support performance management processes through coaching managers, delivering feedback frameworks, and overseeing evaluations.
+ Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including oversight of policies related to FMLA, ADA, EEO, and workplace safety.
+ Maintain HR systems and records, keeping employee data updated and secure while producing reports as needed.
+ Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and execute on initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and diversity and inclusion.
+ Assist in the administration and communication of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
+ Conduct employee exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for process improvement based on feedback.
+ Stay abreast of HR trends and industry best practices to continuously elevate the organization’s HR strategy and ensure alignment with business needs.
Requirements
+ 3+ years of human resources experience as an HR generalist or in a related role.
+ Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to positively engage employees at all levels.
+ Proven multitasking and organizational capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
+ High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
+ Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a strong plus.
