HR Generalist
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Bronx, New York. This role involves managing key aspects of employee relations and leave administration, with a focus on fostering a positive workplace environment. The position is fully onsite and requires a proactive individual who can handle diverse HR responsibilities effectively. Responsibilities: • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting a positive workplace culture. • Administer leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Support onboarding efforts, ensuring new hires have a seamless transition into the organization. • Oversee benefit functions, including enrollment and addressing employee inquiries. • Utilize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports. • Provide guidance to employees and management on HR policies and procedures. • Conduct investigations into workplace issues and recommend appropriate solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and improve processes. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. • Assist in training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement. Requirements • Proven experience in employee relations and leave administration. • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws. • Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). • Familiarity with benefits administration processes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
