Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable Human Resources Generalist to join our team at a busy medical facility. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across multiple functions including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare HR regulations and be passionate about supporting both clinical and administrative staff in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
+ Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes
+ Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
+ Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific employment laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, FMLA)
+ Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including credentials, licensure, and immunization documentation
+ Manage and track employee leave, attendance, and disciplinary actions
+ Coordinate employee evaluations and performance review processes
+ Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and open enrollment
+ Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support a positive work culture
+ Partner with department leaders to resolve employee relations issues and promote retention
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
+ 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility setting
+ Knowledge of employment law, healthcare compliance, and HR best practices
+ Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
+ PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
