Job Responsibilities:

As an HR Generalist (part-time, 20 hours/week), you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient HR operations, overseeing employee lifecycle processes, and acting as a trusted and competent point of contact for both managers and employees of Cosma Sales & Engineering.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform various HR related tasks including recruitment, candidate relations, onboarding/offboarding and employee relations.

Issue employment contracts & amendments and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Prepare and follow up monthly payroll (pre-/post-processing) and liaise with Payroll SSC. 

Advise employees and supervisors on time and attendance management.

Work with managers and employees to define and implement development and training activities, manage and review development and training enrollments.

Actively participate in and provide support for a variety of HR processes & projects including Performance Management, Talent Management, Employee Recognition, EOS and HR Programs.

Coordinate Magna's social/engagement activities, charitable and diversity events at the divisional level.

Maintain data and ensure data quality in HRIS (Workday & SAP), process data changes, conduct HR metrics reporting and support data audits.

Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Who we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of relevant work experience in HR, preferably in the automotive industry.

Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and labor laws. Knowledge of payroll procedures, German tax and social security laws is a plus.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Familiarity with HR information systems (Workday and SAP) is a plus.

Professional English language skills (verbal and written communication).

Excellent communication skills, a hands-on attitude and the ability to think strategically and holistically.
