HR Field Generalist

Position Summary

The Field HR Generalist supports the Field HR Business Partner in delivering HR services to assigned field locations. This role provides day-to-day support across key HR functions, such as employee relations support, performance management, training compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will build trusted relationships with field leaders and employees, helping to foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Partner with the Field HR Business Partner to support employee relations matters, including investigations and documentation, to help ensure fair, compliant, and consistent application of company policies and procedures.

Support the field leadership timely collection and processing of signed documentation and ensuring timely filing into Employee Records.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Support HRBP in educating managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and updates.

Help coordinate and track compliance training across field locations to ensure all employees complete required learning within established deadlines. Supports the Field HR Business Partner in delivering HR-related compliance initiatives such as harassment prevention, safety, and policy training.

Partner with the benefits team to assist in executing the Interactive Process for the leave of absence (LOA) team.

Act as a resource for field managers and employees, providing timely and professional HR support. Travel in the field, as needed, to assist with employee meetings, or special projects.

Partner with HR Analytics team to generate routine and ad hoc HR reports and coordinate with the Field HR Business Partner on reporting needs and data gathering.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1 - 3 years of relevant experience Progressive experience in a broad-based Human Resources role or as an HR generalist supporting multiple HR functions PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems (e.g., ADP)

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling paperwork. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching to file documents or set up events or meetings. Occasional lifting or moving of items such as office supplies, onboarding materials, or event equipment (typically under 25 pounds).
