Description
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and operational support to multiple locations within a values-driven organization. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with senior leadership and site administrators to address a range of HR matters, from employee relations and conflict resolution to organizational restructuring, compliance, and benefits management. Key Responsibilities:
+ Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and administrators at multiple sites, fostering credible and collaborative relationships.
+ Lead efforts in conflict resolution, employee relations, internal investigations, performance improvement, and terminations.
+ Oversee and manage the HR team, including providing mentorship, coaching, and ongoing development.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal policies.
+ Develop and evaluate benefit programs to ensure competitive offerings while optimizing costs.
+ Conduct HR reviews at individual locations to identify challenges and offer tailored solutions.
+ Assist in legal matters, including partnering with legal counsel to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
+ Provide training, tools, and resources to ensure HR competency and best practices at all administrative levels.
+ Monitor HR operations, ensuring timely reporting, financial performance, and accurate data management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5-10 years of senior-level human resources experience, preferably in multi-site or decentralized organizations.
+ Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, with proven ability to navigate regulatory compliance.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (PHR/SPHR certification preferred).
+ Experience with benefits programs (including retirement plans), compensation, and HRIS systems.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels, paired with exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
+ Adept analytical thinker with expertise in data interpretation and actionable insights.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
+ Adept at managing competing priorities and driving results in complex environments.
+ Interest or experience in contributing to mission-driven or values-based initiatives is a plus. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is also desirable.
