Description We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead human resources initiatives for a non-profit organization in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role focuses on fostering employee relations, managing recruitment processes, and overseeing onboarding efforts to support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for HR leadership and a commitment to helping the organization thrive in its mission of serving adults with disabilities. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to promote a positive work environment. • Oversee recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates to meet staffing needs. • Manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization. • Lead benefits administration and compensation planning to remain competitive in the job market. • Ensure compliance with HR regulations, policies, and best practices. • Collaborate with management to identify and address workforce planning and development needs. • Support organizational growth by refining HR procedures and aligning them with long-term goals. • Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers on HR-related matters. • Monitor and enhance HR systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Partner with leadership to build a culture that aligns with the organization’s mission and values. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and recruitment. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and regulations. • Experience in benefits administration and compensation planning. • Proven ability to manage onboarding programs and recruitment strategies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization. • Passion for working in the non-profit sector and supporting individuals with disabilities. • Local to Spartanburg, South Carolina, or willing to relocate.
