Description We are looking for a dynamic and strategic HR Director to join a rapidly expanding organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, driving initiatives that align with the company’s growth and shaping its workplace culture. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with leadership and contribute to the organization’s long-term success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee comprehensive HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute strategic HR plans, including succession planning and organizational development.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees across multiple locations, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
• Manage payroll processes in coordination with the payroll team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead onboarding and recruitment efforts for new locations, including remote hiring for corporate and field positions.
• Mentor and supervise HR staff, such as the Office Manager, while preparing for potential team growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering insights and recommendations on people-related strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, mitigating risks and maintaining organizational integrity.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction across the organization. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or HR certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong expertise in HR laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
• Proven ability to lead HR operations in a multi-site, growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable, high-touch leadership style.
• Demonstrated success in developing HR functions to support organizational growth and change.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• Experience in payroll administration, employee relations, and benefits management.
