Description Job Summary: Our client in Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources (HR) Director to lead and manage their HR functions. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. + Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training. + Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulatory requirements. + Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. + Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters and provide guidance on organizational design and workforce planning. + Lead employee development efforts, facilitating training programs and career growth opportunities. + Manage the HR team and ensure efficient workflow across all HR functions. + Monitor industry trends, best practices, and employment legislation to maintain competitive HR practices and anticipate future workforce needs. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred. + 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. + Exceptional knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. + Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. + Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. + Experience in managing change and driving organizational improvements. + Tech-savvy with proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
