HR Coordinator
Job Description The Human Resources Coordinator will support the Human Resources Department with a wide range of administrative tasks. Duties will include recruiting, onboarding, reporting, and other administrative duties as assigned.Job Responsibilities: 1. Maintaining records of personnel-related data in the database and ensuring all employment requirements are met. 2. Provide basic HR information about the entire range of programs available to employees 3. Inform appropriate HR staff of any matters that require intervention and or action 4. Reviews new hire paperwork and ensures compliance with company policy and other state or federal law. 5. Participates in the on-boarding of new employees 6. Support HR with additional tasks such as scheduling meetings, setting up interviews, handling reference checks, processing drug screens, and ensuring proper new hire paperwork is completed 7. Provide support on HR initiatives and projects We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 1-2 years of HR experience • Understand the fundamental principles of FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, and other Labor and Employment Laws. • ADP Workforce Now HR software. • detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, and have a solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel in particular) • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time HR certifications like the SHRM-CP or PHR null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
