Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Coordinates activities and performs administrative duties, while aligning tasks with the team’s goals and business objectives.
Essential Functions
+ Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Team and acts as the first point of contact for all questions from staff and external customers
+ Communicates effectively through phone and e-mail correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner
+ Coordinates new hire onboarding, including initiating new hire pre-employment screenings, preparing new hire orientation materials, scheduling and conducting new hire orientation, and coordinating equipment and access requests with IT.
+ Maintains Human Resources database with current employee information and files employee records for the department
+ Assists in the recruitment process by distributing resumes, scheduling interviews and meetings as requested by Human Resources staff
+ Prepares new employee files and ensures that all required documentation is in the file for completeness.
+ Manages the Uniform Program for all Team Members
+ Maintains Electronic Message Boards
+ Event Planning
+ Front Desk Reception/Admin Back Up
+ Provides administrative support for the team with copying and scanning activities
+ Carefully handles sensitive and confidential information/situations and documentation
+ Other responsibilities as assigned
+ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
+ 1 - 2 years of related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Knowledge in human resources processes and concepts
+ Excellent internal and external customer service skills
+ Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations
+ Ability to recognize and solve typical problems and select solutions from established options
+ Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $21.20/hr to $35.35/hr
+ Participation in Annual Incentive Program
