HR Coordinator
Description We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our human resources department, ensuring smooth operations across various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic hospitality organization with multiple restaurant locations under its umbrella. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 compliance and e-verifications. • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Assist with processing pay changes, title updates, and other employee status adjustments. • Provide administrative support for HR operations, including document filing and system updates. • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, particularly in relation to regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries and provide timely assistance. • Utilize systems like Excel and Paylocity to manage data and generate reports. • Support documentation processes and ensure proper record-keeping. • Monitor and maintain electronic filing systems for employee records. • Contribute to the overall efficiency of HR processes by identifying areas for improvement. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in human resources administration or coordination. • Strong knowledge of onboarding, offboarding, and I-9 compliance processes. • Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Paylocity is a plus. • Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools. • Understanding of HR compliance and regulatory requirements. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
