Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Supervisor to join our client's team on a contract to hire basis in Visalia, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and fostering effective workplace practices. Your expertise will help guide employees and managers in navigating HR policies while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate and interpret human resources policies, procedures, and employment regulations to employees and managers.
• Deliver training to supervisors and managers on state and federal HR regulations and best practices for handling employee matters.
• Assist managers with drafting and reviewing corrective action documentation, conducting necessary follow-ups, and overseeing sessions as required.
• Coordinate aspects of the recruitment process, including reviewing applications, managing hiring documentation, and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
• Conduct new employee orientations and provide information on benefits while ensuring accurate completion of onboarding paperwork.
• Advise employees on HR policies, procedures, and practices, offering guidance to address their concerns.
• Provide input to managers on ways to enhance personnel practices and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
• Facilitate HR-related training programs, including performance counseling and employee relations topics, as needed.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal employment regulations and maintain compliance standards.
• Supervise field HR staff in collaboration with the HR Manager, delegating daily tasks and workloads effectively.
Requirements
+ Bilingual Spanish is a must
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
+ Proficiency in onboarding processes and HR administration.
+ Familiarity with conducting background checks and managing HR compliance.
+ Experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
+ Strong knowledge of state and federal employment regulations.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Ability to deliver training programs and support employee relations.
+ Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and manage daily workloads.
