HR Coordinator

Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate need for an HR Coordinator for a high-tech company.
Contract | Hybrid| Pay range for this position is $30 - $33/Hr. per based on skills, education, experience, and other relevant qualifications.
Summary:
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional employee support. This role partners with managers and employees across the organization to maintain accurate HR data, coordinate key programs, and streamline HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, including benefits, policies, and HR systems
Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS (e.g., UKG Pro, Workday); support reporting and data audits
Manage onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and exit logistics
Process leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, and work authorization documentation
Coordinate benefits programs and support open enrollment
Maintain employee records to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Support key HR programs (performance reviews, minimum wage increases, EEO-1 reporting)
Manage internal HR communications and maintain intranet content
Track employee training completion and compliance (HIPAA, harassment prevention, etc.)
Assist with employee engagement efforts and recognition programs
Collaborate with Payroll and IT to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes
Schedule HR meetings, interviews, and maintain related documentation
Support ad hoc HR projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist or HR coordinator role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG Pro, Workday)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and responsive
Comfortable working across all levels of the organization
