**Role Summary**
As an HR Consultant – Talent Acquisition, you will play a key role in partnering with hiring leaders to build high-performing teams across ONE Gas. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to manage full-cycle recruitment across a variety of disciplines and geographic locations, supporting our footprint in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, along with strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills. You'll collaborate closely with leaders and candidates to deliver a positive hiring experience and contribute to strategic talent initiatives.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based in Tulsa, OK.
**What You Will Do**
Perform responsibilities related to the recruiting processes including applicant screening, sourcing, testing, and maintenance of applicable documentation.
Complete recruitment processes to fill vacancies including:
+ Advising hiring supervisors on the recruitment process
+ Overseeing interview process
+ Screening resumes
+ Developing a pool of qualified candidates proactively
+ Recommending applicants for interviews
+ Making recommendations regarding hiring decisions
+ Reviewing pre-employment physicals, drug testing and background results
+ Drafting and reviewing external employment ads and posting through ATS system
+ Attending career fairs and networking events
+ Building and maintaining relationships at colleges, universities, and technical schools (as specified by position)
+ Building relationships with Diversity Partners
Compile, maintain, and prepare documentation of employment activities such as job application information, interview questions, job descriptions for postings, employee documentation, offers of employment, and correspondence.
Assist hiring leaders to prioritize competencies and use of behavioral-based interviewing, as well as applicable applicant assessment tools.
Track, compile, and prepare staffing and applicant data by using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide advice and assist hiring leaders, employees, industry peers, and others regarding staffing and recruiting processes, employee benefits, available employment alternatives, and interpreting policies.
Help with onboarding process.
Be a legal liaison for staff attorneys and candidates.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
**What You Will Need**
Preferred bachelor's degree human resources or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job-related experience:
+ Conducting employment interviews and analyzing applicant information.
+ Experience in full life cycle recruitment, relationship development and customer service.
+ Knowledge of human resource policies and procedures applicable to position.
+ Interpreting and applying governmental regulations applicable to position.
+ Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including using computers (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
Experience and training related to:
+ Employment practices and related governmental regulations
+ Governmental regulations relative to equal employment
+ Interviewing skills
+ Customer service
Experience compiling and preparing information and reports about employee data, interview questions, applicant statistics, health benefits, workplace accommodations, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Experience reading and interpreting manuals, reports, governmental regulations, training materials, job information, documentation, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
Read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Preferred Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or PRC
Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings. Requires travel to offices and job sites throughout system.
Operate office tools and equipment required.
Communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.
