HR Compensation Analyst
Job Description

Agilent Technologies has an opportunity for an HR Compensation Analyst, primarily participating in the design, development and implementation of Agilent’s stock compensation strategies and programs.  This individual will conduct analysis and provide consultation and support to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Accuracy, attention to detail, strong financial analytical skills and project management skills are critical. 

Lead the design and management of the company’s stock programs, including RSUs, Stock Options, and Performance Shares, with a focus on the Officer and Executive population.

Apply expertise in both broad-based and executive compensation to develop effective stock strategies.

Prepare program materials for review by senior leadership, including the CEO, CFO, Business Leaders, HR Leadership, and the Compensation Committee.

Deliver advanced data analyses and present insights clearly to senior leadership, addressing questions and recommendations with confidence.

Coordinate with Legal, Finance, IT, HR Services, and Business Management to ensure seamless execution and compliance with stock plan policies.

Oversee monthly stock grant cycles and manage the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, including employee communications.

Provide guidance to HR partners, business leaders, and employees on stock-related matters.

Support retention and onboarding compensation design, including M&A-related activities.

Create clear, engaging employee communications and maintain up-to-date content on the internal HR site.

Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Requirements:

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and apply best practices using survey data and external consultants.

Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with timely and aligned outcomes.

Highly dependable and deadline-driven, especially in support of critical global stock plan processes.

Demonstrates sound judgment in issue escalation and data reconciliation, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.

Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and scenario analysis; capable of building and interpreting complex cost models.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create executive-level presentations.

Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to understanding business needs.

Self-directed and organized, able to drive program execution with minimal oversight.

Committed to continuous learning and staying current on compensation trends, legal updates, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, HR, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field; an MBA is a plus

8+ years of industry experience in compensation, finance or a related field

Strong grasp of financial and accounting principles, with demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data

Familiarity with compensation program design, including general, variable and executive compensation

Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience creating presentations for diverse audiences

Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables

Familiarity with Workday systems and configuration a plus

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $109,600.00 - $205,500.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
