We are looking for a HR Business Partner Manager to provide expert leadership for a broad range of human resources programs, to serve as a transformational leader by leading change and shaping our organization’s culture, to be a trusted HR partner and contribute to the success of the Corporate teams.

Reporting into the VP Corporate HR, the role is based in our headquarters in Alphen aan den Rijn, in The Netherlands.

The HR Business Partner Manager works closely with the Corporate team of HR to lead the development and execution of a human capital strategy in partnership with Corporate executives and their teams. The role helps to translate business needs into human capital strategy to support business direction and execute it operationally. In addition to building relationships and developing an understanding of the business, this role collaborates with a team of HR functional experts in Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) and Operations to translate business needs into human capital solutions aligned with our enterprise HR priorities and designed to support the achievement of enterprise or business area goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be an effective business consultant and talent strategist, engaging on the work that matters most to the success of the business overall and establishing clear plans, success measures, and aligned expectations with stakeholders.

Contribute to a dynamic people strategy framework that will deliver relevant Development, Leadership, Engagement, Reward and Recognition and Change Management to support the business strategy, culture, key business function needs and maintain a high-performance work culture.

In partnership with HR colleagues in COEs and Operations, provide subject matter expertise and expert leadership for human resources programs for various areas of HR management including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, Organizational Design, and Change Management.

Develop “trusted advisor” relationships with key business partners and ensure effective communication with executives to ensure proper focus on HR issues.

Support talent management processes through organizational development activity including performance reviews, talent reviews, training, and cultivation of new leaders using available programs and tools.

Stay abreast of industry best practices, identifying areas of improvement, recommending, and implementing those best practices to support the corporate goals and development.

Your Profile:

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business,  Human Resource Management or related field

Experience 

Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including a diverse exposure to all major functional areas of Human Resource and management of others to achieve desired objectives.

Pan European or global experience as a HR professional.

A high degree of knowledge and resulting credibility to foster the necessary business relationships and build consensus with senior leaders, a HR leader with significant influence.

Excellent judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity and provide leadership to drive solutions.

Effective at managing change and organizing people and activities to effectively and efficiently complete projects and work.

Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization. Team oriented, cooperative and flexible.

Navigate the Organization: Proven ability to manage interactions with and between others with the specific goal of providing service and organizational success.  Experienced in working effectively in a matrix environment.

Demonstrated analytical, creative thinking and interpretation skills in solving complex HR issues.

Know the Business: Strong understanding of the business and the industry. Proven track record of providing direct guidance and coaching to organizational stakeholders (e.g., leaders and employees) seeking expert advice. Commercially minded.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in global, Enterprise Software environments.

Organizational Leadership: Proven track record of serving as a transformational leader for the organization by leading change and the ability to articulate and shape the organization’s culture.

Experienced in partnering with HR Shared Services /COE on various HR Business Processes.

Master’s degree is highly preferred.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications

Excellent English and Dutch languages skills are required.

Other requirements

This is a hybrid role that requires working from an office at least 8 days/ month. Occasional travel may be required.
